Minakshi Tikoo, PhD

Minakshi Tikoo is an interdisciplinary healthcare researcher and manager with over 25 years of professional and academic experience in health IT, policy development, community program administration, working to improve delivery of health and human services. She has extensive experience in stakeholder and client outreach at the local, state, and federal levels with a focus on enhancing person-centered services. Her passion is to create a synergy between client services, automation, and research, with the goal of improving consumer care through improved programmatic support. Her long-term goal continues to be to improve person-centered services through the lens of social justice and technology resulting in equitable, effective, and efficient care delivery systems.. Previously, she served as the assistant commission at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she led five offices focused on improving population and equitable health and well-being through training, strengthening community partnerships, and providing policy and data expertise to planners and providers contributing to and playing a lead role in the city’s COVID response.

Carl Zimmerman is a geospatial data scientist with a diverse background in tax assessment, environmental services, urban planning, landscape architecture, and geospatial applied research. He has worked in consulting; city, regional, and state government, and academia.
